A former officer with the Menominee Tribal Police will serve 15 years in a federal prison for sending sexually explicit messages to a teenage girl. Forty-year-old Basil O’Kimosh Junior entered a guilty plea in March. The 15-year-old girl’s mother reported the crime to the Tribal Police Department and it passed on the information to the F-B-I and the U-S Attorney’s Office. The victim says O’Kimosh kept asking her to meet him so they could have sex. She says she told him her age, but he kept contacting her. An undercover agent arranged a meeting and O’Kimosh was taken into custody.
