Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies say a man pointed a rifle at them earlier this week when they followed up on a stolen vehicle report. They believed the missing vehicle was inside a shed on the property in the Township of Alma. Forty-four-year-old Juan Gabriel Aguilar refused to come out and continued to make threats for about an hour. When he did come out, he used a small child as a shield while charging at deputies. He was arrested when he released the child and then the stolen vehicle was found in the shed. Aguilar and 30-year-old Jolene Gadbois were both taken into custody.
