The Green Bay Packers have teamed up with the Brown County UW Extension to continue the Planting for a Purpose Program. The program is designed to encourage community members to donate fresh produce to local food pantries. There are three kickoff days planned, with the first being today from 4:00-6:00 PM at 210 Museum Place in Green Bay in conjunction with the Northeast Wisconsin Master Gardeners’ plant sale. There will be another tomorrow at the same location from 9:00-11:00 AM, The third will be on Saturday June 2nd from 8:00 AM – Noon. For more information, visit http://browncountycommunitygardens.org.
