West Bend Woman to Appear for Sexual Assault Charge

A woman is scheduled to appear in Sheboygan County Court today to face a charge of 2^nd Degree Sexual Assault by Correctional Staff. Katy Moon of West Bend was working at the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution back in September, when an inmate witnessed her touching an inmate inappropriately. The witness also claims to have seen a love letter that was written between the two. Moon initially denied any wrong doing, but was arrested following an investigation. If convicted Moon, could spend up 40 years behind bars, and be fined up to $100,000.
