Former Packers star quarterback Brett Favre says when he woke up during the 1995 N-F-L season his first thought each time was that he need to get more pills. Favre says he made three trips to rehabilitation centers during his football career to deal with his dependence on painkillers and booze. He told an interviewer from “Sports Illustrated” he took as many as 14 Vicodin pills at a time. He says he spent a month at a rehab center in Louisiana in the early 90s to try to break the pill habit, 72 days at a Kansas City center to get off Vicodin, and another 28 days in 1998 for drinking problems.
