2 People Manage To Escape Injury In Explosion And House Fire

The Weyauwega Fire Department says two people inside a burning home escaped with their lives over the weekend.  Their names haven’t been released.  Neighbors reported they heard an explosion before seeing the flames.  Firefighters found the home fully engulfed when they arrived.  Investigators say the official cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, but it appears a propane tank may have exploded.  Six firefighting crews from neighboring towns helped fight the flames.  No serious injuries were reported.
