WIAA Girls Fastpitch Softball Pairings

The WIAA office in Stevens Point has announced brackets for the Girls Fastpitch Softball Tournament beginning next week.  In division-1: Manitowoc Lincoln has the #10 seed and the Ships will travel To #7 Hartford Union on Wednesday, May 23rd..for a 5:00 o’clock 1st pitch.  In division-2: the Two Rivers Raiders drew the ‘8th’ seed and will ‘host’ #9 Notre Dame Academy in a 4:30 start at Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park ‘Tuesday’ at 4:30.  The winner gets top-seeded Seymour.  Next Wednesday, #4 Denmark is home for Marinette.  In division-3 Brillion is the #1 seed and the Lions will meet the Howards Grove @ New Holstein winner on Wednesday.  Valders has the ‘2’ seed and, after a first Round bye…will face the Kiel @ Sturgeon Bay winner on May 23rd.  Roncalli gets the 6th seed & the Jets visit #3 Southern Door next Wednesday.  In division-4: Mishicot is a top-seed and will host Either Stockbridge/Hilbert or Sevastopol Wednesday.  Algoma with the #2 seed also has a first night bye.  #4 Manitowoc Lutheran is home for Lourdes Academy/Valley Christian next Wednesday.  And That day #6 Reedsville travels to 3rd seeded St. Mary Catholic.
