The Chippewa County prosecutor is accusing a Boyd man of being drunk while he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident last month. David Samaniego is charged with operating while intoxicated fourth offense and four other crimes. Police say he was the driver in a hit-and-run accident April 24th in downtown Chippewa Falls which left two women with injuries. When police caught up with him his blood alcohol content was measured at nearly three times the legal limit to drive in Wisconsin. Samaniego is scheduled to return to court May 29th.
