Two Manitowoc women find themselves behind bars after the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit conducted a search of a home in the 2000 block of Johnston Drive in Manitowoc yesterday afternoon. The warrant was issued due to investigators identifying multiple subjects, two male and two female, living at the residence that were involved in the distribution of methamphetamine. After verifying the trafficking via controlled purchases, the raid was conducted. During the raid, investigators discovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, prescription medication, and a two year old child, as well as 39 year old Deann Ploeckelmann and 38 year old Kimberly Peterson, whom they were searching for. Both women are facing a variety of drug related charges, and will be making their initial court appearances on Friday.
