Richland County Couple Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 12-Year-Old Girl

Richland County authorities say a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at least 10 times last year inside an apartment.  Investigators say 43-year-old Annette Winger set up the sexual assaults by her boyfriend.  Winger is accused of lying to the girl’s caregiver so she could take the child to her home where she was forced to perform sexual acts on 47-year-old John Elder.  Winger allegedly wrote about the assaults in an e-mail she sent to the girl in April.  Both adults face felony charges.  Winger was in court yesterday and Elder has an appearance scheduled for next week.
