A Thursday night panel discussion of gun control drew a big crowd to the T-B Scott Free Library in Merrill. On lookers say almost 100 people filled the room to watch a panel which included a retired sociology professor, a retired Lincoln County sheriff, a life-long N-R-A member, a Mennonite church bishop and a member of an advocacy group. Each panel member was given a specific amount of time to talk about their point of view. All members agreed the root cause of school shootings like the one in Florida is the existence of evil.
