Most business owners depending on a big Memorial Day holiday weekend aren’t too worried about high gas prices. The average pump price in Wisconsin is up by more than a quarter-a-gallon compared to last year. Gas prices in the state are the highest they’ve been in three-and-a-half years — and the experts say the climb will continue. Over the last 16 months, O-PEC has cut the amount of crude oil it supplies to the market, pushing prices up. Analysts with GasBuddy.com aren’t expecting $3.00 a-gallon prices, but we could reach $2.80 before the end of the year.
