Sheboygan County authorities are actively looking for a male suspect in connection to an incident that occurred this morning in Manitowoc County. The Sheriff’s office says they contacted several businesses and residents in the Town of Wilson in the area of Sauk Trail and Middle Road to notify them of the situation.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office informed Sheboygan County authorities that a girl was dumped from a vehicle on I-43 after an alleged abduction. Sheboygan County Sheriff Cory Roessler says there were two men in the vehicle. With one suspect exiting the vehicle and fleeing on foot. Meanwhile the driver continued towards Ozaukee County where he was apprehended by law enforcement.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6- foot- tall weighing 200 pounds with pierced ears and dread lock style hair, wearing blue jeans and an orange and black t-shirt. Authorities say he is believed to be armed with a handgun and an active search is ongoing. This is a developing story.
