The first day of May brings along with it a pair of meetings in the city of Manitowoc, both taking place in City Hall. The City Advisory Committee will kick things off at 4:00 PM in the Planning and Engineering Conference Room. Mayor Justin Nickels will be on hand to give an update, Committee Chair Anthony Mack will be granted a Commendation, and they will discuss reorganization of the committee. The Finance Committee will follow that up at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers. Among the long list of items to be discussed, include programs to improve the Housing Stock, an increased dollar amount for replacement of the Washington Park sign, and a request for a storm Sewer on the 1700 block of Lilac Drive.
