A 24-year-old Manitowoc woman has been officially charged for the murder of her step-father. Court records show that Felicia Kuehnl was charged today with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 49-year-old Randy Loze. He was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head at a residence April 20th on Manitowoc’s Southside. Kuehnl is also charged with recklessly endangering safety and fleeing an officer. Police responded to a residence in the 900 block of South 11th Street for what originally was described as a suspicious death investigation. Kuehnl then allegedly told her step-mother Dawn Loze that she had shot him and Loze called police. Kuehnl then left in the victim’s vehicle leading police on about an hour-long high-speed chase before surrendering to Sheriff’s deputies. The criminal complaint gives no details for a motive. Kuehnl remains in the Manitowoc county Jail on a $1000 cash bond on the original Charges and an initial appearance is scheduled for Monday afternoon.
