As the N-B-A playoff series between the Bucks and Celtics returns to Milwaukee Thursday night, the league is admitting there were some missed calls near the end of Tuesday’s 92-87 decision. The “N-B-A last-two-minute report” confirms the referees should have whistled the Celtics for a 24-second clock violation as Al Horford put up a 3-point shot with a minute-18 to go. Horford should also have been called for walking just before the shot. Bucks coach Joe Prunty says he was given an explanation, but he added it wasn’t “good enough.” One of the referees told a reporter the suspected shot clock violation wasn’t reviewable. Bad calls went both ways. The league says Khris Middleton should have been called for a foul when he hit Jaylen Brown in the final minute.
