Finally, some good news for University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee coach Pat Baldwin. One day after the Panthers’ top three players went public with their plans to transfer, six-foot-one guard Te’Jon Lucas tweeted a picture of himself wearing a Panther jersey in front of a sign which read, “there’s no place like home.” Lucas was a high-scoring, high school standout at Milwaukee Washington High School. He just completed his sophomore season at Illinois, averaging five-point-two points and three-point-two assists-a-game. He will have two seasons of eligibility left after he sits out next year.
