Federal prosecutors have reached plea agreements with three more defendants in a 200-million dollar fraud case involving a Wisconsin-based construction company. Sonag Construction owner Brian Ganos is accused of defrauding the government by holding secret control over several companies which qualified for federal contracts because they were supposed to be run by minorities and veterans. James Hubbell, Jorge Lopez, and Telemachos Agoudemos will plead guilty to charges they were portrayed as owners of two companies when that wasn’t true. The aim was to qualify for lucrative federal projects.
