Bob Uecker calling Eric Thames two-run home run in the seventh inning of Milwaukee’s 2-0 victory over the Reds Tuesday night. One game after they exploded for 10 runs, Cincinnati was shut out by Junior Guerra and three relievers while losing for the 14th time in 17 games. Dan Jennings earned the victory in relief and hard-throwing lefty Josh Hader pitched the last two innings for his second save. Outfielder Christian Yelich returned from an injury and was available, but he didn’t play. Manager Craig Counsell is expected to put him in the lineup this afternoon (Wednesday) at 12:40 P-M. Zach Davies will be the Milwaukee starter.
