The Manitowoc Lutheran boys basketball team ‘had’ lost five straight games to close out the regular season many of them close losses. That changed last night for the Lancers in their WIAA Division-4 Regional opener. Coach Gordy Zastrow’s team started fast and held-serve in a 96-74 victory over visiting Mishicot. With everyone on the roster getting into the game Lutheran had balanced scoring…Max Klein led the way with 19-points Trey Zastrow had 13 while Bryce Marohn and Brock Staudt added 11-points apiece. Mishicot sophomore Roger Zipperer took game scoring honors with ‘31’ points. The Indians close the season at 1-and-22 While the Lancers (15-and-8) travel to 4th seeded Winnebago Lutheran in Fond du lac on Friday.
