My Feral Fix offers a TNR program to spay/neuter and vaccinate outdoor cats for $25 per cat. Due to increased demand, the TNR program is now available to residents of southern Manitowoc County who have feral, stray or barn cats living on their property. TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is a 3-step process: Outdoor cats are trapped using a safe, humane, live trap. Trapped cats are spayed or neutered, receive rabies and distemper vaccines, given deworming medication and ear-tipped by a veterinarian. After recovery from surgery, the fixed cats are returned to their home.
Residents of southern Manitowoc County with outdoor cats who are interested in having them spayed or neutered can contact My Feral Fix through the organization’s website www.myferalfix.org, or email contact@myferalfix.org, or call 920.946.1775
My Feral Fix was formed in 2015 to address feline overpopulation, a serious and growing issue that affects communities all across the country. The volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is based in Plymouth, Wisconsin and is funded by donations from area residents and businesses. In 2017, My Feral Fix TNR program sterilized 656 cats, reducing the future population of outdoor cats by thousands.
