Some voters found their information had been purged when they went to the polls to vote in Tuesday’s primary. A state initiative removed the names of registered voters who had moved recently. Wisconsin state elections officials say there is no evidence anyone was prevented from casting a ballot. Those voters either needed to update their information — or, they were no longer eligible to vote in Wisconsin because they’d moved out-of-state. The problem was, some voters found their names had been purged, even though they hadn’t moved.
