A man from Two Rivers was injured in an accident involving a semi-truck yesterday afternoon. The man was reported to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office at around 2:40 PM, and was said to be driving erratically on U.S. 151 near Quarry Road. Deputies attempted to pull the man over, but he continued to drive, eventually turning on to County Road JJ, where he crossed the center line, and struck the semi. The crash happened just west of Friday Road. The semi driver was not injured, but the driver of the car was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. While the investigation is still in its early stages, alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
