A 23-year-old Milwaukee man faces a prison sentence of about 20 years when he returns to court next month. David Harris was convicted on six of the 12 counts he faced in Milwaukee County Court this week. The jury deadlocked on the other six and he will have a re-trial. Harris is a member of the Big Money Addicts, a group of drug dealers using what prosecutors called an innovative heroin-dealing business. Harris took the stand and admitted he was a B-M-A member, but he told the jury he didn’t deal drugs or commit other crimes. He was found guilty of racketeering, drug dealing and using stolen cars to commit crimes.
