A May 8th trial date has been set for an Italian man charged with pushing a Wisconsin student into the Tiber River. Nineteen-year-old Beau Solomon of Spring Green drowned in the 2016 incident. Forty-one-year-old Massimo Galioto faces a manslaughter charge in Rome. Solomon had just arrived in the city for a five-week course at John Cabot University when he went missing. His body was found in the river three days later. He was a full-time student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Galioto’s girlfriend told police he pushed Solomon into the river after the two had argued July 1st, 2016.
