The Wisconsin State Assembly voted in favor of the “Green Alert” Bill, The bill, if signed into law, would create a Green Alert, which would make the public aware that someone that is serving or has served in the U.S. Military is missing, using the same process as the Amber and Silver Alerts, already in place. The bill, also known as the Corey Adams Searchlight Act, was created after Milwaukee Air Force veteran, Corey Adams, went missing. Even though his family knew something was wrong, he did not meet the critical missing criteria by the police. He was found dead 18 days later. The bill now moves on to the desk of Governor Scott Walker.
