A 67-year-old rural Mishicot man is dead from injuries sustained this morning in a rollover crash in the town of Gibson.
Manitowoc County Sheriff Deputy Inspector Jason Orth says shortly before 10AM, deputies and several local and area EMS personell responded to the call on Twin Bridge Road near Jambo Creek. An initial investigation indicates the male was operating a bulldozer-like tractor on the south shoulder when it slid down the ditch embankment and overturned into the partially-frozen creek. He was removed from the water and transfered via ambulance to Aurora Baycare in Green Bay where he later died from his injuries.
The victim’s name will be released once his family has been notified. Mishicot Fire and Ambulance along with Two Rivers Emergency Services responded on scene. The accident remains under investigation by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s offices.
