In-Line Speed Skating Results

Two young inline speed skaters from Manitowoc and the Rollaire Skate Center…turned in top performances last weekend at a USA Roller Sports sanctioned event in suburban Detroit. 13-year old Abby Barnett a student at Wilson Junior High placed 2nd in 3-novice division races covering 300, 500 and 700-meters.  Abby also finished 3rd in all 3-races in the higher standard division. Brenndon Wolf a 9-year old student at Stangel Elementary took ‘1st’ in his group for the 200, 300 and 500 meters.  Brenndon then placed 2nd in the tougher ‘Juvenile’ division covering 300, 500 and 700 distances.  He also wound up 3rd-in the Pick-a-Partner Relay competition.  Both youngsters are on the Team Wisconsin affiliate in Manitowoc and are coached by Shawn Roberts & Jeff Wolf.
