Accident Outside Parking Garage Leaves Pedestrian Dead

Madison Police say a 30-year-old driver called 9-1-1 Monday night shortly before 11:00 P-M to report a fatal accident.  The man told officers he was leaving a downtown parking garage when he hit a pedestrian.  A 53-year-old Madison-area man was pronounced dead at the scene.  No names have been released yet.  Investigators say the driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating.  He has since been released
