Wisconsin Department of Tourism “Big Bundle Up”

The Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “Big Bundle Up” campaign has come an end and was deemed a massive success. A total of over 31,000 winter clothing items were collected including hats, scarves, coats and mittens. As a part of the campaign, the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau was able to collect 50 winter clothing items. Some people went above and beyond, crafting items by hand, MAVCB President Jason Ring stated “These winter items will go a long way keeping people who need them warm this winter.” The statewide campaign was created back in 2011, and has collected a total of around 134,000 items for those less fortunate.
