Prostitution Sting Rounds Up 8 “Johns”

The Oshkosh Police Department’s arrested eight suspects last week during a sting operation.  Officers with the Vice and Narcotics Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division focused on people willing to pay for sexual contact.  Investigators say the men were 19-to-63 years old and they were from Appleton, Eldorado, Fond du Lac, Neenah, Omro, Oshkosh and Sheboygan.  Six of the men will face prostitution charges.  One was jailed on drug charges and another on charges of felony bail jumping, in addition to the prostitution charges.
