A 41-year-old Whitelaw man is free on a $5000 recognizance bond after alledgedly threatning customers at a Manitowoc gas station last evening. Court records show that Eric C. Bajdan is charged with making terrorist threats and disorderly conduct. Police say that Bajdan walked into the station around 8 pm alledgedly drunk and threatning to kill everyone. A witness stated that Badjan walked in and out of the store several times and a cashier said that he had been making obscene gestures. After calling authorities Bajdan allegedly said he hoped the witness would die. He drove home where police found him and took him into custody. No one was hurt. Conditions of bail include that bajdan have no contact with the victims, not posess any dangerous weapon and maintain absolute sobriety. His initial appearance is scheduled for March 12th at 2:30.
