A total of 14 wrestlers from Manitowoc County qualified Saturday for the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament. The Two Rivers Raiders had a pair of Sectional champs in the Oconto Falls Sectional, Matt Bianchi at 113 pounds and Cody Holmes at 120 pounds. Raiders Teammates Joey Bianchi at 126 and Damian Bullock at 285 are also going to Madison virtue of a top 3 finish. Valders will send Jackson Linsmeier to state at 220 & Kiel High School has Andrew Schad going at 113 pounds.
Two Mishicot wrestlers won Sectional titles at division 3 meet at Dodgeland High School: Kolton Tesarik at 113 pounds and Frank Koeppel at 220. The Indians will also have other qualifiers in: Dylon Becker at 138, Sawyer Young at 160 and Austin Lambrecht at 195 pounds. Reedsville had a Sectional winner in Landon Kasper at 126 pounds, along with 2nd or 3rd place qualifiers in Brandon Stelzer at 152 and Carson Schanilec at 182.
The State Individual Wrestling Tournament will take place this Thursday through Saturday at the Kohl Center
