Convicted Sex Offender Enters Guilty Plea

A convicted sex offender from New York had admitted he traveled to Shawano to have sex with an underage girl.  James Huskisson entered a guilty plea in federal court last week.  Prosecutors say the 45-year-old had been convicted on two counts of rape in New York.  He was taken into custody when he returned home from Wisconsin.  He had messaged the 15-year-old girl and sent her explicit, sexual photos.  A school principal contacted police when a suspicious vehicle was seen in a parking lot at the girl’s school.  Huskisson could get up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced in May.
