In the aftermath of the deadliest school shooting since The Sandy Hook shooting, and Appleton man was arrested after he threatened to shoot up a school. Appleton Police were informed of the threat by the FBI’s Green Bay office, on Saturday, and had arrested 23 year old David Etheridge by 6:00 that evening. Etheridge allegedly sent a message to the FBI saying he wanted to “shoot up the school”. Ethridge admitted to authorities that he did indeed send the message, and the FBI believes he may have sent even more. While he did not have any weapons on him at the time of his arrest, investigators are in the process of getting a search warrant to search Ethridge’s belongings.
