A Minnesota jury has found a Hudson woman not guilty of felony charges in a fatal accident nearly two years ago. Thirty-six-year-old Destiny Xiong was found guilty of the lesser charge of misdemeanor careless driving. Xiong says she was reaching for her dropped cell phone when she slammed into the rear of a stopped car May 1st, 2016. Thirty-one-year-old Brea Miller of St. Paul was killed and her fiance suffered serious injuries. Xiong had been charged with criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation. Prosecutors had to prove gross negligence to win the case.
