The Wisconsin Department of Justice has taken two sex trafficking victims into protective custody and arrested five suspects in St. Croix County. The sex trafficking sting turned up several suspects involved in operations which targeted children for sexual purposes. Would-be customers were taken into custody when they knowingly sought to have sex with 14- and 15-year-old children. The names of the suspects haven’t been released. They face possible charges of attempted second-degree sexual assault of a child, requesting a nude image from a child, using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement and soliciting a prostitute.
