Two pedestrians suffered “non-life” threatning injuries after being struck by a bus in Two Rivers early this afternoon. Lt. Karen Elsenpeter of the Two Rivers Police Department says they were walking Eastbound in the crosswalk on 17th Street about 12:50pm when they were struck by a Maritime Metro Bus as it was turning South on Washington from 17th Street. The 1600 and 1700 blocks of Washington Street were closed for approximately a half hour. The names of the victims and the extent of their injuries have not been released and the accident remains under investigation by Two Rivers Police.
