SLC Victorious over Mount Mary University


The Silver Lake College Women’s Basketball team made the trek down to Milwaukee last night to take on Mount Mary University, and walked away with a win 72-48. After a slow first half for both teams, SLC picked up the slack, and started making buckets left right and center, especially in the 4th quarter, shooting 69%. Dannell Buck with 16 points, followed by Daniele Byrum with 11. The win brings SLC’s record up to 16-7, and is their 8th straight victory. The Lady Lakers will be traveling to Michigan this weekend for a pair of games against Bay College in Escanaba tomorrow, and Finlandia University in Hancock on Saturday.
