Noon Rotary Announces Officer and Citizen of the Year

The Noon Rotary has announced their recipients of the Officer and Citizen of the Year. Officer Peter McGinty is the 2018 Officer of the Year, and has been with the Manitowoc Police Department since June of 2016. Officer McGinty joined the MPD with 20 years of experience, specifically in investigations and drug related crimes. Because of that experience, Officer McGinty was assigned as an investigator at Metro Drug in October 2017. Meanwhile, Festival Foods has been selected as the Citizen of the Year. Festival Foods has been dedicated to making a positive impact in all the communities they serve, including Manitowoc. For the past four years, they have teamed up with the MPD for several fundraisers. Congratulations to Officer Peter McGinty and Festival Foods on receiving these prestigious honors.
