Silver Lake College in Manitowoc is continuing their long standing tradition of musical excellence with the “Tunes to Love” concert tonight. The jazz ensemble and vocal concert will begin at 7:00 P.M in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, located at 2406 S. Alverno Road in Manitowoc. The Silver Lake Jazz Ensemble will be under the direction of Dr. James Ackman, the Silver Lake Chorale, under the direction of Jonathan Kim, assistant professor of choral music, and piano accompaniment will be provided by Dr. Diana Shapiro, assistant professor of music, and Dr. Stanislava Varshavski, who teaches piano at the college. Performers include Meg Lehman, Theresa Nier, Tasha Rabe, Dawn Welling, Emma Knickelbine, Ashley Reif, Allyson Wasmer, Benjamin Karnitz, Jonathan McConnell, Young Moua, Christopher Ducasse, Niyimbona Fadhili, Noah Liermann, Benjamin Johnston, Katherine Sohn, Tyler Burk, Hanna Stolper, Michael Stearns, Tyler Jensen, Brad Fahley and Kelly Koeppen.
