Two former Chippewa Valley football coaches are returning after volunteering with the Super Bowl’s Crew 52 in Minneapolis. Tim Lies and Ed Watkins were two of the 30,000 volunteers that assisted in a variety of tasks throughout the Twin Cities in the 10 days leading up to the big show. The men volunteered Sunday for a shift helping riders on the Bold North Zip line across the Mississippi River. The two are already looking at tickets to volunteer for the next Super Bowl.
