A Sun Prairie car accident sends one person to the hospital after the car sunk into about three feet of freezing water. Two cars collided Saturday afternoon shortly before 2:00 p-m. Witnesses say the car rolled onto its side and the driver wasn’t able to get out. Emergency responders freed the person and Marshall E-M-S transported them to a hospital. No names were released and the extent of the injuries isn’t known. Accident investigators say they don’t know if road conditions contributed to the accident, but it’s another reminder to slow down while driving on winter roads.
