The Manitowoc Public School District has partnered up with the City of Manitowoc in creating an agreement, which allows MPSD students in grades 7-12 to ride the city bus at no cost. This new arrangement is intended to allow students better access to transportation, and reduce barriers for those students. The free rides are not limited to school related activities, and can be used for any reason. Mayor Justin Nickels is very happy with the agreement.
He went on to explain how students will be able to obtain their free ride.
The change has already taken affect.
