Slender Man Defendant Finds How Long She Will Be Institutionalized

A daylong hearing in Waukesha County will determine how long 15-year-old Morgan Geyser is going to be in a mental institution.  Geyser and Anissa Weier lured a classmate into the woods three years ago when they were all 12 years old.  They repeatedly stabbed Payton Leutner, trying to kill her to appease a fictional horror character called Slender Man.  Leutner was stabbed 19 times, but she survived.  Weier was sentenced to 25 years in a mental institution last month.  Victim impact statements are being given today (Thursday) and the court is hearing from doctors who have evaluated Geyser.
