SLC Names New Vice President

Silver Lake College in Manitowoc has named Tracy Milkowski the vice president for advancement and external relations. Milkowski has 20 years of experience in higher education, most recently as vice president of advancement at Marian University in Fond du Lac. Accomplishments included directing a $13 million comprehensive campaign to fund a science building and endowment. The Milwaukee native said she was “attracted by the college’s mission and its Franciscan values, which are clearly evident from the moment you step on campus. Silver Lake College is the only Catholic college in the country to adopt the Work College model. We are providing a solid education combined with work experience to better prepare our students for the future, benefiting not only our students, but the businesses that hire them. This is a win-win for our communities.”
