On 01-31-18, at approximately 0700 hrs, the resident of 703 S23rd St was getting into his vehicle when he was charged, then bit by a stray dog.
The dog was described as a German Shepherd type dog, but did not appear to be fully-grown. The dog was mostly brown with some black coloring and did not have a collar. The dog also appeared malnourished and the ribs could be seen through the dog’s fur.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the location of the dog is encouraged to call the Police Department at 686-6551.
