Eau Claire authorities say the temperature was 19 degrees, with a 10-degree wind chill, when four children were left alone outside in the cold after dark. Thirty-year-old Jedadia Sullivan faces four felony charges of child abandonment. Investigators say the children were wearing coats, but didn’t have hats or gloves. The children’s mother says Sullivan texted her after leaving the kids next to her car in a parking lot where she works. If he is convicted, Sullivan could be given a 20-year prison sentence.
