Police say two Colorado men have been arrested after shooting in Shawano that left a 31-year-old woman seriously wounded. Shawano police say officers were called to an address at around 3:40 A-M Saturday. After their arrival, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital for treatment. She is expected to survive. Police recovered a firearm, that is believed to have been used during the incident. Police say they took a 20-year-old Denver man into custody outside a home in the Middle Village area of the Menominee Indian Reservation. He was taken to the Shawano County Jail and is being held on a felony warrant out of Colorado. Police also arrested a 22-year-old Denver man. He is in the Menominee Tribal Jail and is being held on several felony warrants from Colorado and a Menominee Tribal warrant. Charges will be referred on today (Monday) to the District Attorney’s Office. No names have been released.
