Police say a property on Eau Claire’s north side is deemed safe after a man made threats regarding explosive devices. Eau Claire police say no one was hurt inside the Royal Credit Union on Birch Street Thursday when a male suspect was making threats about using explosive devices. Around 40 people were in the building at the time of the threats and the bomb squad was called in. Police evacuated the building and took the man into custody a short time later. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
